Prepaid Phonecards FAQ
How do I purchase phone cards from your store?
Shopping at our store is easy and fast. You can pay with credit
card online, fax in credit card number, or mail in a check or
money order. We can deliver the PIN number via secured web, via
email, or via regular mail. We can also deliver the card(s) to
a third party if they are purchased as gifts. You can get your
PIN number instantly if you choose to pay online with a credit
card. So you can always get a card when you need it, no matter
where you are and what time it is. The instant reply sets us apart
from other retail outlets.
Is it safe for me to enter my credit card number on
your site?
Yes. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard
and among the best software available today for secure commerce
transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including
credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read
as the information travels over the Internet.
How does a prepaid phone card work?
Using a prepaid phone card is easy. You just dial a 1-800 number
or local number provided by the phone company from any phone set
and follow the voice instruction to enter your PIN number and
the number you wish to call. Your card balance will be announced
at the beginning of each call. When your card balance approaches
zero during a call, a voice will announce how much time you have
remaining. A call will be automatically disconnected after your
balance reaches zero. Some phone card companies provide online
instruction in foreign languages. Check our web pages to see if
the card you choose has instruction in your native language.
What is the connection charge?
In addition to the usage charge based on the minutes, some phone
cards charge a flat connection fee each time you dial the 1-800
or local access number. The connection charge may vary according
the destination country.
Do I have to pay additional taxes when I use a prepaid
phone card?
No.
How do I know how much is left on my card?
After you dial the 1-800 or the local access number and enter
your PIN number, a voice will tell you the remaining balance (in
minutes and or in dollar amount) on your card.
What is your return policy?
We are a retailer of many kinds of prepaid phone cards issued
by long distance phone service companies. We closely follow their
return policies. Please check the return policy for each individual
phone card.
Do the rates on your cards change, depending upon the
time of day?
No. All of the phone cards we sell have the same rate 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week.
